I am glad to learn that the recently formed World Punjabi Organisation has decided to take a delegation of about 100 leading Punjabi industrialist, journalists, artists etc. to visit Lahore, Nankana Sahib, Rawalpindi, Punja Sahib and Jhelum in Pakistan from 17th to 22nd February, 1998. I am confident that this will further promote friendship among Punjabis living in the two neighbouring countries. In fact there is a need to arrange more such goodwill delegations to promote understanding and social and economic co-operation among the people of India and Pakistan.
